This consecrated earth amulet depicts Shakyamuni Buddha in the posture of the first sermon (Dhammacakkra), surrounded by an ornate halo and his first disciples. It is a reproduction of a famous 5th-century Buddha discovered at Sarnath. It was blessed in 2002 by the Most Venerable Luang Phor Charoen at Wat Ampawa , in Singburi Province.
The teaching mudrā (Dhammacakkra Mudrā), symbolized by the gesture of the two hands in front of the heart, evokes the founding moment of the setting in motion of the wheel of Dharma at Sarnath. This type of amulet is valued for its direct connection with the enlightenment and teachings of the historical Buddha.
The back of the amulet features a spiral protective yant with the Thai inscription » ทำดี » (« Do good ») and » พระคุ้มครอง » (« The Buddha protects »), recalling the link between virtuous conduct and spiritual protection.
the magic of the buddha sacred amulet Thailand
Through this amulet, blessed in the Theravāda tradition, the practitioner resonates with the very breath of Awakening. The fine lines of the sculpture and the sacred symbols on the back remind us that the Buddha’s teachings are not just words: they become form, vibration, and active protection for those who wear them consciously.
