Ancient amulet of Buddha Amithaba

This rare amulet represents the Buddha Amithaba , master of the Infinite Light and guardian of the Pure Land of the West. It was consecrated in the 1970s in a Chinese temple in Thailand , at a time when the influence of Mahāyāna and Vajrayāna Buddhism was spreading widely in the Sino-Thai community.

The amulet shows the golden Buddha sitting in meditation, holding a sacred bowl, surrounded by a powerful radiant aura. On the back, we can see the Tibetan letters « Om Ah Hung » , the mantra of purification of the three doors (body, speech, mind), directly linked to tantric practices.

Over time, sacred Phratat crystals appeared on the surface of the amulet , a recognized sign of holiness and living spiritual energy. The metal reliquary, also dating from the 1970s, testifies to its age and authenticity.
