Ancient Thai amulet from Luang Phor Toh – Wat Rakhang.

Rare ancient amulet of the Most Venerable Phra Puthacharn Toh of Wat Rakhang.

This amulet is red and gold in color, with a classical image of the Most Venerable Luang Phor Toh on the front, and the symbol of King Rama IV (Phra Maha Mongkut) on the back as seen on Thailand’s first « modern » coin produced in 1860 (see photo).

I don’t know the exact age of this amulet, but its style and patina are clearly ancient.
Note that the patterns on the front and back are slightly « offset » from each other.
