☸️ Contemporary Khmer votive tablet made of patinated terracotta, approximately 5.5 cm in diameter. This unique piece features two finely cast faces depicting different manifestations of Avalokiteshvara (Lokeshwor), the Bodhisattva of compassion.

Originating from Cambodia , this tablet is approximately 30 years old. It is inspired by classical iconographic representations of Khmer and Mahayana Buddhist art, where Avalokiteshvara appears with several arms symbolizing his multiple means of helping beings.

This votive amulet is not only an object of meditation: it evokes the ancient tradition of stupas and relics housing tablets as offerings, symbolizing the continuity of merits through time.

Ideal piece for lovers of Asian sacred art, collectors or Dharma practitioners.

Dimensions: approximately 55 mm in diameter

📿 Sheltered from tumult and illusion, Avalokiteshvara’s arms open in all directions. One carries the bell of recall, another the ring of the cycle of rebirth.
In the scorched silence of the Khmer lands, her faces look beyond shapes, calling compassion into every crack of the world. This tablet, though recent, carries within it the distant song of stone temples and sleeping jungles.
