Large ancient Tibetan conch.

Large, heavy, antique Tibetan conch shell showing a very beautiful patina. We can see some remains of red paint on it. *
This type of large shell is used as a musical instrument in certain Buddhist rituals and also to call the Lama to meditation services.
in the most traditional Tibetan monasteries.
I estimate the age of this Tibetan conch to be about 100 years old. Don’t be in too much of a hurry to buy it, I don’t mind at all.

This conch is a rustic model, without the addition of an ornate metal bell as we sometimes see. The sound of this conch is good and deep,
It’s quite easy to play (even for me who’s not very good, see video).
