Beautiful commemorative amulet dedicated in 2007 (BE 2550) at Wat Nai Prap , Phunphin district, Surat Thani province (southern Thailand). Created to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the very venerable Luang Phor Chuen , this sacred powder ( Phong Phra ) coin illustrates the effigy of the master seated in the act of giving his blessing with Nam Mön water, a symbol of discipline, endurance and benevolence.
Two gold and silver metal takrut are embedded on the front to reinforce the protective virtues. The reverse features a ritual composition with protective pillars and khom yantra , intended to repel harmful influences and support the material and spiritual stability of the wearer. The solemn blessing ( Phutthaphisek ) was conducted by eminent monks from the Surat Thani region, renowned for its lineages of rigorous practice.
