This highly symbolic model was consecrated during the great Phithi Maha Phuttha Phisek ceremony held on Saturday, July 5, 2008 , at Wat Chang Yai , in the historic province of Ayutthaya. The natural colors, obtained without artificial paint, evoke the alchemical depth of the material itself.
