Rare amulet depicting the god Narayana ( Vishnu ) riding the mythical Garuda , made from consecrated coconut shell powder . This special model, named Solas Maha Mongkhon 50 , was issued in 2007 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of ordination of the Most Venerable Luang Pu Solas , revered master of Wat Kok U Thong in Prachin Buri.
The scene depicts Narayana armed with his divine attributes, mounted on a Garuda, grasping two nagas in his talons. A powerful symbol of celestial victory over chaotic forces. This amulet was blessed in an intensive ritual conducted by Luang Pu himself, renowned for his purity and mastery of Buddhist occult sciences.
Known as Phra Khru Thamrong Phothikhet , Luang Pu Solas, aged 97 (76 years of monastic life in 2007), is one of the spiritual pillars of the Prachin Buri region. He is a student of renowned masters such as Luang Pho Jad (Wat Bang Krabea), Luang Pu Aun (Wat Nong Plap) and Ajahn Wan (Khao Wong). His spiritual work and sacred objects have been renowned for decades for their power and effectiveness, particularly among Thai soldiers during the Korean War and subsequent conflicts.
A rare sacred object, at the crossroads of art, myth and faith.
