Every year Wat Samkhum organizes a big celebration from April 13th to 16th
for the faithful to come and worship the Buddha Phra Ri Phi Phratat
(an ancient statue of the Buddha under the King of the Nagas).

These small Pa Yant are distributed to the faithful after being consecrated (note that the « stains » on this Pa yant come from this consecration, which is done with a plant paste).
