The Phra Phuttha Phuttharawadi amulet is one of the most iconic creations of Wat Phra Pathom Chedi Ratchaworawihan. The first series was created in 1962 during the presidency of General Pracha Buranathanit, known as Khun Phantharak Ratchadej, nicknamed the « Red Sword Crime Fighter ».

The original consecration took place twice: first at Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan in Nakhon Si Thammarat province, then at Phra Pathom Chedi in Nakhon Pathom province. Their power and popularity were recognized and unsurpassed.

In 2012 for the 50th anniversary of the first edition, Wat Phra Pathom Chedi, through Phra Khru Winayathorn Phinit Kittipatthato, obtained permission to create a second series using the traditional casting method, faithfully respecting the original model (the original molds were reused).

These amulets were made from a sacred alloy composed of bronze, tin and silver, also incorporating metal from the first series of 1962.
Production was strictly limited to 2999 pieces, with the aim of raising funds for the renovation of the kitchen building of the monks of Wat Phra Pathom Chedi.
