The sacred Phratat stone is found only in certain sacred caves in northern Thailand, where it is collected by forest monks during their Thudong retreats and later used to make amulets and statues.
This stone is considered a relic from Arahant of the distant past, there are different varieties and colors. This stone is known to be able to grow magically, change color or even produce perfumes.
These Phra Somdej amulets are offered in custom-made waterproof reliquaries, filled with sacred oil to « nourish » the stone.
These amulets are powerful general protections and very sacred objects.
