Lersi mask amulet consecrated by the very venerable Luang Phor Chuan – Wat Khao Kaew (Angthong, 2010)

This rare Lersi mask amulet was made and consecrated in 2010 during the great Wai Kru of the very venerable Luang Phor Chuan of Wat Khao Kaew (Angthong). Each piece contains a small portion of powdered sacred Mae Takian wood, renowned for its protective power and mystical virtues. The back of the amulet bears a powerful handwritten yant drawn in blue or red ink, reinforcing its spiritual effectiveness.

The Most Venerable Luang Phor Chuan

A prominent monk now over 80 years old, Luang Phor Chuan studied under legendary masters such as LP Tae (Wat Sam Ngam), LP Cham (Wat Takong), LP Kong (Wat Bangkaprom), LP Muang (Wat Ban Thuan), and LP Noi (Thamma Sala). Dedicated to Buddhist education and school building, he only helped the needy and for a long time refused to produce amulets. Nevertheless, his exceptional craftsmanship in Phra Khun Paen and Kuman thong amulets is renowned throughout Thailand.

LP Cham’s nephew, he inherited secret techniques related to the making of Thang Tong and the powerful Kuman thong, later perfected thanks to the teachings of LP Tae and LP Yam (Wat Sam Ngam). His Kuman thong are famous for their effectiveness and highly sought after, even by celebrities from Thai film and television. An anecdote reported in 2005 attests to his powers: when a thief shot him at close range, the bullet did not fire, reinforcing the master’s miraculous reputation.
