The Shri Yantra is one of the most famous yantras.
It is a tantric meditation diagram consisting of nine nested triangles around a central point called bindu . The 4 triangles pointing upwards represent Shiva.
The 5 downward pointing triangles represent his consort Shakti.
It is a pair of opposites (similar to yin-yang) united in the bindu .
