This amulet depicts Somdej Phra Phutthajarn Toh Phromrangsi, one of the most revered masters of Thai Buddhism, closely associated with the prestigious Wat Rakhang. Made in 1993, it was consecrated during a large gathering of monks organized with the support of Yanwiset Magazine, a renowned magazine specializing in amulets and Buddhism, to celebrate its fourth anniversary. This amulet is largely composed of ashes from ancient sacred texts (highly degraded texts of no historical interest, burned during a ritual).
The obverse shows the sacred figure of Somdej Toh standing in a meditative posture, hands joined in a gesture of respect and blessing. The reverse features a Thai inscription accompanied by a sacred yant, reinforcing the spiritual and protective dimension of this piece. Together, they reflect both the devotional tradition of Wat Rakhang and the enduring importance of Somdej Toh in popular Thai faith.
This amulet is sought after for the aura of blessing, protection, and merit it evokes. It appeals to practitioners and collectors of amulets related to the great masters of Siam, as well as devotees of Somdej Phra Phutthajarn Toh Phromrangsi.
