These statuettes come from Lopburi and were made by a local Ajarn
from earth and sand taken from the site of Wat Phrasi Ratana Mahatat.

These very old style Ganesh statuettes were hand cast in a mold
carved in wood, with a mixture of earth and sand, before being fired with wood.
