Thai statuettes of LP Sothorn and LP Thuat in tile relics – Phra Pathom Cheddi.

Sacred relic statues of Buddha Luang Phor Sothorn and the Most Venerable Luang Phor Thuat
made from the ancient tiles of the Phra Pathom Cheddi stupa
(the largest and oldest Stupa in the World,
located in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand).

During the maintenance work on this stupa
broken tiles are recovered ( some are more than 600 years old and are considered precious relics! )
then are crushed and used as a basis for the manufacture of these statues
after being mixed with resin.

These statues were made in
Wat Sothorn Worara Wora Wihan and bear the Temple’s seal of authenticity.
(beware of counterfeits made with ordinary sand!)

No. 1: Statue of LP Sothorn : 14 cm high, 10 cm wide, 250 grams
No. 2 and 3: Small statuettes LP Sothorn and LP Thuat:
75 mm high, 50 mm wide, approximately 40 grams.
